1000 year old curl

A ring made of two ancient woods. A piece of heather wood from the enchanting cloud forest of La Gomera (firewood found by myself, carried by myself, cut into veneer by myself) and bog elm wood, which has matured in a bog for around 500 years, wound into a harmonious ring. Two times 500 makes 1000 years stuck in this ring.

A two-tone wooden ring made of common heather and moor elm with a matt finish

material:
Stammerika wood from the cloud forest of La Gomera, bog elm wood, matt finish

wood specification:
Trunk heather: beige to salmon-colored, rays usually as fine dots, hard
Moor elm wood: gray with geometric pattern, medium hard

Production: All HolzTraum rings are made using the Bentwood technique. A thin strip of wood is bent with the fiber into a multi-layered ring. This technique makes it possible to produce very stable rings with a slim look. This is a big advantage over turned wooden rings. Unless brute force is used, Bentwood rings are unbreakable. Then the blank is ground to the desired width and shape. The ring is then sealed with a matt layer of acrylic resin.

ring size:
I make rings in sizes from 46 to 72mm and widths S (3.5-4.5mm), M (5-7mm) and L (7.5-12mm).
Please specify the ring size and width in the payment process.
If you are not sure which ring size you need, order a multisizer, which I will send to you in advance. You can then email me the ring size you have determined. The offer is a two-tone wooden ring. Any engravings, inlays or stones that can be seen in the photos are not part of the offer and can be purchased separately.
